Expressing Gratitude


It's important to show thanks to our team members regularly, not just on big occasions. The daily efforts everyone puts in are what truly keep us moving forward. So, let's make sure to acknowledge the small but significant contributions.


It's About Them


When thanking someone, think about what they would appreciate the most. A quiet thank you might mean the world to one person, while another might enjoy a bit of public praise. And remember, not everyone likes big gestures; sometimes, a simple day off can be the best way to show appreciation.


Avoiding Negativity Bias


We all tend to remember negative things more than positive ones. If we only pair gratitude with feedback during reviews, the good might be overshadowed by the bad. So, let's ensure we're showing appreciation regularly, not just when offering feedback.


Let's build a culture of gratitude together, recognising and valuing the everyday efforts that make our team great.
